Senior Pastor Jesse Loggans

Pastor Jesse Loggans had the rich heritage of growing up in a Baptist pastor’s home. During the summer of 1982 he realized he was a sinner and needed a Savior, so he placed his faith in Christ as his personal Savior. He was baptized at the age of eight years old; and at the age of twelve, he surrendered his life for full time ministry while at summer camp. Pastor Jesse graduated from Bible college and seminary at Maranatha Baptist University. 

He met his future wife Janie in the summer of 1998 while they were both working at Northland Baptist Camp. Jesse and Janie were married July 29, 2000 in Escanaba, Michigan. The Loggans have five children, three girls and two boys. Charisma is the oldest child, and she and her husband live in Ankeny Iowa. Cori is their second oldest daughter and is a student at Pensacola Christian College. Colton, Charity, and Clintin are still at home, and are homeschooled.

Pastor Loggans has ministered as a youth and assistant pastor for 15 years, and as a senior pastor for almost 5 years. In the early spring of 2023, the Lord moved the Loggans from their ministry in Michigan to join their new church family here in York, PA. Pastor Loggans praises the Lord for the many years of faithful ministry and for the good foundation already established here in York. The Loggans are excited about what the Lord is going to continue to do at Calvary Baptist Church.

Pastor Jesse has a passion for discipleship, and a heart for building relationships. His passion for ministry is seen through his expositional preaching of God’s Word, his personal interaction with the people of Calvary, and his love for the people in the greater York area.

The Loggans family enjoys campfires, hiking, water sports, movies, and family games.

Pastor Tim Raymaker

Pastor Tim had the privilege of growing up in a Christian home and received Christ’s gift of salvation at a young age. It was in a small church at a military base near Kitzigen, Germany, that his Sunday school teacher explained the gospel in a way he could understand. Tim asked Jesus to be his Savior not long after that.

In the summer of 2011, while attending a church camp, Pastor Tim felt God’s call to dedicate his life to serving the Lord. He went on to attend West Coast Baptist College and earned a bachelor’s degree in missions in 2019.

Harmonie and Tim met during his senior year, through their shared missions classes. They were married at Castleview Baptist Church in Castle Rock, Colorado in 2020, and are the proud parents of three energetic young boys: Luke, Nathan, and Andrew.

Pastor Tim has served in various roles in ministry, including intern, part-time staff member, and full-time assistant pastor. He enjoys teaching the teens and young adults and discipling and building relationships with others.

In the fall of 2024, the Lord led the Raymaker family from their ministry in Illinois to Calvary Baptist Church, where they accepted the call and enjoy serving the church. The Raymaker family enjoys the outdoors, reading, and board games.
